Good automation is boring on purpose

Automation is often sold in language nobody understands: synergies, holistic optimisation, cross-functional workflows. Meanwhile, what it actually looks like is a simple text: "Don't forget your appointment tomorrow at 2 PM."

The best automations are boring. A confirmation message, an invoice created from a booking, an automatic reply to a missed call. Nothing spectacular, but they work every day without relying on anyone's memory.

Our rule: if we can't explain an automation in one plain sentence, you probably don't need it.
